Squirrels on the Loose

Longview, Washington is famous for, wait for it, squirrels. Or more precisely, bridges for squirrels. The most famous is called Nutty Narrows Bridge. It looks like some of the famous Eastern bridges. Now, I can tell you from experience that squirrels are not really friendly. I spent much of my college years looking up in trees for the inevitable nut that they would drop on my head. The wars became so bad, one squirrel growled at me and ran maniacally towards me. I took off running in the opposite direction in sheer terror hoping I could outrun the angry squirrel.
