Good for a Weekday

Writing five scenes yesterday at work for the second part of my movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project may be good for a weekday. But it’s not very good for a weekend. It should have been at least two or three more. If not a little bit more than that.

Unfortunately, five scenes are all that I got written at work yesterday. And the worst part about doing that is that I don’t know why I only got five of them written. I know that I had some trouble with a couple of them because I knew what I wanted to write. But not how to write it.

I did do a lot of erasing yesterday at work. some of it was only a few words. And some were a lot more than a few. That may also include whole paragraphs. Whether they be dialogue paragraphs or description ones, I did a lot of erasing. And that did slow me down a little bit. But I don’t think that it slowed me down that much.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get too much written at work? that’s right. It’s work. Unfortunately, I can’t blame them for me only getting five scenes written at work yesterday. That’s because it was a very typical day when it came to work. It wasn’t very busy at all.

True, I did go outside my Guard Post a little bit more often yesterday. But considering the time of year that it is, I’m not too surprised about that. That probably did slow me down some on my writing. But I don’t think that’s the reason why I didn’t get more written either.

The weather was kind of bad yesterday too. But that’s not the reason either. At least I don’t think that it is. True, it was gloomy yesterday at work. and it did rain a tiny bit. But it wasn’t that bad. That’s why I don’t think that’s the reason why either.

So, what is the reason? That is one question that may never be answered. But it doesn’t really matter, though. Of course, I wanted to write more, a lot more. Only I didn’t. I did write five. And five is better than less than five. True, I hope to get a whole lot more than five today. But whether I do or not, I’m going to get as many as I can done.
