A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Eight Total Yesterday True, eight may not read like that many scenes have been written for the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But I think that it is considering it happened on a Friday at work. It wasn’t just because it was a Friday, though. No, it was also because of how busy that it was at work yesterday. It wasn’t one of the biggest Fridays for being busy. But it was a lot busier than it has been in a long time. That’s probably because it’s that time of year when it usually is quite a bit busier. It wasn’t all bad, though. True, it was very, very busy. But most of that busy was inside the guard post. I did go outside a few times. Especially, toward the end of my shift. But not as much as I normally do. Because of being inside most of the time, I was able to get a lot of writing done for this project. At least I think that eight is a lot. True, three of those scenes are Establishing Shots. That means that five of them weren’t. And one of those five ended Act Three of this part of the movie. It also means that I got the first four scenes written for this movie. Of course, it could have been worse. At least I didn’t have to write up any Incident Reports yesterday at work. that doesn’t mean that nothing happened that called for me to write up an IR. There were a couple of times that I should have done them. But I didn’t because I’m not allowed to write up IRs like those anymore. Today is a Saturday. That usually means that it’s not very busy at work. Unfortunately, it has been just the opposite lately because it’s that time of year there. What does that mean? It means that I may or may not get a lot of writing done on Act four for the first part of this movie. I hope that I get a lot written on this project. But if it’s anything like the last few Saturdays I may be lucky if I get five or six of them written.
