Seven Instead of Eight

That’s right. I only got seven scenes written yesterday at work for the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But that’s all they were, scenes. There were no Establishing Shots among them. There won’t be any Establishing Shots for the next fifteen scenes either.

What is the usual reason that I don’t get more written at work? That’s right. It’s work. And yesterday was no exception. It was very busy at work yesterday. Not as busy as it has been. Especially, with me going outside in the heat. But it was still quite busy, though.

Luckily, I didn’t have to leave my guard post very much at work yesterday. I did a few times. But not as many as it has been lately for a Friday. For most of my shift, I was inside the guard post there. So, I had plenty of time to do my writing. And writing I did too. A lot of it.

Some might write that eight scenes isn’t very good. But I disagree. I think that it is very, very good considering that I did them at work. I’m just hoping that I can do that many today and tomorrow at work. If I can, I will get the end of Act Three done for this part of this movie.

Of course, I had a little bit of trouble with a few of them. Keeping them within thirteen, fifteen, or nineteen lines aka thirteen, fifteen, or nineteen seconds isn’t easy to do. But it can be done eventually. That’s why I had some trouble with some of my scenes.

I only have fifteen scenes left to end Act Three. And I should get them written in the next two days. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens. Just because I should be able to do it doesn’t mean that I will. Even if it is on a weekend.
