Only Six Scenes

The weather was extremely bad yesterday at work. It was supposed to be raining and storming from the time that I got to work until after I left. But I got a slight reprieve from that happening. It didn’t start until about an hour after I started my shift. And even then, it wasn’t too bad for another hour or two. But after that, it was extremely bad.

Of course, it was also very, very busy at work yesterday. Especially, during the first couple of hours. I’m sure that they were trying to beat the weather before it officially started. But it wasn’t just because of the weather, though. It was like that all day. In fact, it got even worse after the bad weather started. At least it did with me having to go outside of my guard post.

I had to go outside a whole lot yesterday at work. Normally, going out doesn’t often start until about halfway through my shift. If it’s not even a little bit longer than that. But that isn’t what happened yesterday. I barely got to work when it started. True, that may have been because of the weather about to happen. But I don’t think that was the only reason it happened.

Despite, the weather and work I managed to get six scenes written on the first part of my movie for the Water Wars scriptwriting project. I know that may not read like a lot. But considering where it happened, and what was happening while I was there, I think that it is a lot. Of course, I wanted to do a little more. If not quite a bit more. But six is still good to me.

Unfortunately, the weather is supposed to be even worse today. So, there is a very good chance that I might not even get six or seven scenes written today. I hope that I can get more than that many written. But I’m not going to count on it until it happens. Especially, if work has anything to say about it. And I’m sure that they will.
