Happiest in Diversity:1
To 'Abdu'l-Baha

It was the diversity
of the audience
that gave him joy.

He was happiest,
when he saw
both black and white people
at the same table.

He was forthright
when it came to the importance
interracial unity,
and uncompromising in its practice.
