Structure: 7 syllable lines, any number of lines you want. That is, the poem can be as long as you want.
Rhyme: The lines should have the same end-rhyme. That is, an AAAAA... rhyme scheme.
Language: Allegorical, in that the use of images, metaphors or stories that 'stand for something else' is encouraged.
