For the Next Five Days

Starting today I’m going back to working on Part One of my movie script for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. if I remember correctly, I got four scenes written and one Establishing Shot. That may not read like a lot. But I think that it is. Not only were they about two and a half-written pages long, but they were also written at work.

True, it wasn’t very busy at work last Sunday. It was a very normal Sunday. And the weather wasn’t too bad. But it was busy enough to slow me down on my writing. Of course, it didn’t do that very much. It did do it some, though. What slowed me down the most was the writing itself.

I knew what I wanted to write. But I wasn’t sure how to do it within fifteen lines for each scene. Most of the time I had to think about it for a little while before I started to write them. Once I did that, there was no stopping me from writing that scene. Except for work that is.

Today is a weekday. So, I’m not sure how many scenes that I will be getting written today. That’s right, I just wrote scenes. That’s because I think that’s all the Establish Shots for this Teaser Act. I hope to get another four to six of them done. but I may be lucky if I get three written. It all depends on how busy that it gets at work today.
