"Prompt: Proverbs 3:25-26 25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. What is the desolation of the wicked? What does this mean?" The desolation of the wicked refers to when the wicked meet what they have coming. Christians are not to fear when they witness the wicked meeting their doom. The wicked made their own choices and had the same choices we all have. We are not to pity them when the shoe falls on them. It will fall and we will witness it. Not fearing it means that we trust God's judgment and know that it is correct. Write about frogs today from this poem. I always liked frogs. I once lived two and 1/2 hours north of where I live now and winters there were colder and longer than here. I always longed to hear the croaking of the bullfrogs in the winter because it meant spring had just come. |
