Despite Another Split Shift

I was wrong about how many paragraphs that I would get done at work yesterday for The Bible for my Water Wars Scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, I only got five of them written yesterday. And I was kind of lucky that I got that many. But it wasn’t my fault this time. I had another split shift yesterday at work.

The first four hours I spent at my old post. And it was very busy during that time. I didn’t have any time to do any of my writing. That’s how busy that it was. Of course, I did try to get some writing done. I took out my paper and pencils to do it. But I didn’t get it done. Every time I picked up my pencil, I had work that needed to be done instead.

As usual, I didn’t really feel like doing any writing during the last four hours of my shift. But I forced myself to get as many of them written as I could. It wasn’t easy, though. True, it was a very normal Saturday at work yesterday. But it was kind of busy. Especially, during the last four hours of my shift.

I got my writing supplies out. But I didn’t think that I would do any writing. And for about an hour I didn’t. Then I started doing it. Once I started doing it, I couldn’t stop myself. Of course, work stopped me a lot. But not enough to do it completely. I may have only gotten five of the written. It was five instead of zero, though.

Today, I’m going to continue working on this project. I’m not sure how many I’m going to be getting written. But I hope that it’s a lot. It may all depend on whether I have another split shift or not. As far as I know, I won’t be having another one so soon. But it has happened before. So, I’m not counting on anything until it doesn’t happen.
