Bedtime Thoughts..

Why? Why not?

I had a three-hour chat with a 70-year-old man.
"The transcendent spirit of Jesus is in all of us."
Bill stated and added, "God is the only answer to existence."
"Is Budha part of God's plan?" I queried.

Bill spit into his cup.
"There are many false prophets, but Jesus is God's only son."
"How do you know that?" I queried.
Bill spit into his cup.
"I have accepted Jesus as my savior."
Bill was becoming impatient with my questions.
We had hit an impasse.
"People can believe anything.
Wanting something to be true does not make it true."
Bill sighed at this example of logic.

I Like Bill.
He is a good Christian and has a kind heart.
I am not certain there is enough evidence of the supernatural.
Perhaps, Jesus was supernatural..
Maybe he was an extraterrestrial with powers far beyond mortal men?
I am skeptical.
Nevertheless, I enjoy studying paranormal anthropology.
Is the Sasquatch another great ape or neanderthal?
Were their extraterrestrial encounters recorded in the Bible?
