} "Prompt: In Matthew 5:5-6, we have the next two beatitudes." Matthew 5:5-6 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. What do these mean to you?" Today has been busy for me. Jesus likes it when I am busy because it keeps me out of mischief. I am using my peer recovery support specialist certification to hold a group here at the West Virginia Veterans Home where I live. The group or class is about different ways we can change our behavior and thus improve our lives. I am planning a pizza party for this Thursday to advertise the group some, so I was out today posting fliers about that. I am also planning a revival here in June and have been working on that. My morning has been busy, busy, busy! Jesus was telling us in these passages that if we seek the things of the Kingdom of God and live our lives like Kingdom citizens, then we will inherit the world. The world is still under the rule and influence of Satan, but Satan has been defeated. The surrender is just not yet signed and we will not inherit the world until the surrender is signed. Once it is signed (official) all sin will disappear. Then the world will be ours. It is not going to be the lay-around on a cloud playing a harp world that many believe though. It will be a world where we will be stumbling over each other to serve and love each other. Prompt: "I was cruising the galaxy with Twiggie and we found this planet:
Write about this poem in your Blog entry today." Cappucine would hate my desk right and probably my room. It has been a busy week and everything is a mess. I need to clean it good when I get the opportunity. I just have other priorities right night. I can tell this writer is a perfectionist or at least leans that way. They want things orderly, which is good. There is nothing wrong with cleanliness. "Prompt: March Daffodils Let March and Daffodils inspire your blog entry." Daffodils are my favorites. They are usually one of the first signs of spring. They are a hearty flower though and can survive even through snow. They tell me spring is in the air. "Prompt: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” Winston S. Churchill We mostly believe that a positive attitude leads to success. On the other hand, is it possible that people’s attitudes color or slant their perceptions of others and the world in general?" I tell people all the time that our minds are like computers. They believe whatever we put in them. If we put positive thoughts in, we get a positive attitude back. |
