Envy

That snide remark by Malfoy has to be the result of envoy trigger. What kinds of things, situations or actions can trigger other people's envy?

Job promotions. Someone getting a raise who didn't earn it. In high school, not making cheerleader or Pom Pom Girl and you think you deserved to win. Being promised a job teaching the mentally retarded and going to a 2 day class for it and another nurse was chosen instead. I have been there with these things. Things do always work out like we hoped but then we get other honors like being chosen to be in a state Pageant, getting rewards in Drama in high school and a plaque for being the head high school reporter.

Someone you don't like get their new house before you get ours. We get jealous of others. I don't envy people anymore. I get everything I want. I just want to be healthy and am thankful for another day. Things don't seem important like they used to. Just enjoying life now works for me.
