We just got through a tumultuous 2020. Reflect on lessons learned, and how you will use them in the year 2021. (<1000 words)
Here are my top five lessons from 2020.
#1 Handwashing isn't as slipshod an affair as I used to think. I have learned it takes a lot longer to do it right than it does to just get your hands wet.
#2 Masks are good for more than keeping out germs, this winter is the warmest one my nose has ever seen.
#3 There is such a thing as being too close to your family. A little time apart is good for morale.
#4 Pjs are great for daily wear, they can even work in the supermarket.
#5 No matter how much you think you hate strangers, not having new people to talk to gets old.
Using this program - Mirror Writing - write a poem about arriving in the Looking Glass World and what you experience there on your first day. (<40 lines)
Looking round,
here's what I found.
A ball of twine,
some spilled wine.
A chessboard, set for play.
A clock chiming in another day.
It all appears normal to me.
Then I see the backwards three.
The door is hinged the wrong side round.
And there are more things backwards that I found.
