I’m Not Giving Up

A few days ago, a new year began. And with that, there will be a slight change when it comes to my scriptwriting. I will continue to work on my Water Wars project at work. But I’m not going to spend as much time as I tried to do last year on my second project, The Problems with Death. Of course, I will continue working on this project too. I’m just not going to have as much time to work on it as I did last year.

What am I writing about? Last year, I devoted my writing to scriptwriting. And I did a very good job at it. True, I did drop the ball once. I almost dropped it a couple of other times too. But overall, I did devote most of the year to my scriptwriting projects.

This year that isn’t going to happen. As I wrote above, I will continue to work on my scriptwriting. Especially, my Water Wars project. After all, there isn’t much else I can do at work since I’m not allowed to bring my laptop as everyone else can. But when I’m not at work I will be going back to writing short stories for contests. And I will be getting involved in some of the challenges too.

I missed writing my short stories. And I think that’s why I gave in and wrote one a few months ago. It’s also the reason why I tried to write several others after that. Especially, when it comes to my Science Fiction stories. I want to world to know the truth about what’s out there. Even if no one believes me or thinks that I’m crazy.

I’m not sure how much devotion that I’m going to be able to do over this next year when it comes to any contest that I may enter or challenge that I accept. But I will try to do as many of them as I can. There are a few that I do want to participate in. that’s if I’m allowed to do it. I think that I will be allowed into most of them. but there a few that I have been banned from. And ironically, they are Science Fiction ones.
