A Gift From God

What I spy with my little eye,
Is a person oh so very bright.
Inward shines a spirit on high,
You are a very special guy.

Outward you are a handsome man,
A wonderful personality that’s never bland.
You make me oh so very happy,
A smile you’re always extracting.

I love you more than mere words could say,
I love you more with each passing day.
You are the man with whom I‘ll spend the rest of my life,
Within my life, I know I shall survive.

You listen to me and hear what I say,
You know how to be serious and know how to play.
You’re like a tree fat and full of leaves,
You make living every day a breeze.

Happiness and warmth are brought by the sun,
Those feelings from you, plus add in some fun.
My life is blessed because I met you,
You are a gift from my God so true.
