| Some prompts, I suppose, are easier than others. PROMPT July 3rd Describe a missed opportunity you encountered, and how things might have been different if you hadn't missed it. See, I had the opportunity to NOT get drunk tonight. And I missed that opportunity. My favorite local brewery has a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, and it is delicious. Too delicious. Okay, so, yesterday, I mentioned two of my favorite artists: Brandi  Carlile and Leonard Cohen.What a lot of people don't know is that the former covered the latter. Seriously, I was going to wait and do this later, because I have a thing in my Blog Fodder folder about this particular song. But I'm drunk. So. Here it is. A video you would not have seen had I not decided to drink myself into oblivion tonight. Two highlights of my life: seeing Brandi Carlile live, and seeing Leonard Cohen live (twice). So when Brandi did Hallelujah, it just made my life.To address the prompt: if I hadn't gotten completely drunk tonight, I would not be this happy. And that's all, folks. |
