Life's Learning Experience
What do you value most in a job/career? What about a job makes it satisfying and fulfilling? If you currently hold your “dream job,” what makes it perfect for you? If you are still seeking your dream job, how will you know when you’ve found it? If you are retired, think back to how you felt when you were working.

“There's a world of difference between a dog that is off the leash and a dog that is trained to be off the leash.”Don Sullivan reference from: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/dog-training

What do you value most? What makes it perfect? Satisfaction and knowing that to succeed is to make something better for someone else. Whether you are helping people learn to control a horse, live with a dog, or buy the donut that will make their day.

It does not matter whether you are writing for a publication, selling something, or training an animal. You are working with people who need something or want something more out of their life.

One of the most fun jobs I had was as a kennel worker. It did not pay a lot but it was enough to cover the expense of driving to the job and bought extra things for my family, that they would not have had. I fed dogs, bathed dogs, played with dogs and cleaned kennels all day. It was a 35 mile drive both ways. *Dog1*

I've worked in a Pizza parlor as the cleaner for the store after hours, as a dog groomer, kennel worker, the sales person in a second hand tack shop, a horse trainer, and teacher of riding, and worked counter help in a donut shop, I worked in a furniture factory running machines that shaped pieces of wood.

As a senior in high school I worked in an office taking dictation, processing payroll, typing letters, and I helped publish the school newspaper, also worked as the secretary, to the school chorus leader, and ran the school switchboard.

In college, I accomplished an internship with the Purple Martin Association. I wrote articles about purple martins and submitted them for publishing. It was a learning experience for sure. *Bird*
