Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: October 12 is Moment of Frustration Day. What has been your biggest frustration this year? What did you do about it?"

Probably my biggest frustration this year has been losing my income for two months because of red tape. I think it sucks that a person on disability is not allowed to earn an income. I understand but I still think it sucks. I mean I was only trying to better myself and be a contributing member of society. I love serving and this gave me an opportunity to serve. The next time I take a position it will either be high paying or volunteer. I can't afford to lose my income just because I am trying to better myself and become a productive member of society.

I wish writing was a more productive and lucrative proposition. My poetry of late has been winning a lot of prizes. I changed my writing style. I once used a lot of descriptive words. I don't anymore. I use only nouns, verbs, pronouns, conjunctions, and some prepositions in my poetry, leaving out the adjectives and adverbs. It seems to work!
