I remember the vacations of my youth,
a week spent at my grandparents' mobile home
beside "The Lake"
fishing,
swimming,
and water skiing.

I remember a vacation
when Mom and I
went to Disney Land.

Now
my vacations are virtual
going to places across the planet
that I always dreamed of.
