The Moon and Me
How does the moon affect you? Write a prose, poem or story about you and the moon.

I worked midnights for thirty years.
I loved seeing a full moon at night.
It was big and bright at times and
sometimes comforting. It looked happy.

Full moon night. I knew it was going to
be a wild night at work. My patients would
be up and wired for sound. It was spooky
when the moon was red. A guaranteed bad night.

Thank you, Mr. Moon. The night soon passed.
Clouds over the moon. This was scary. It would be
neat to see the deer under the full moon in the
snow. This was a comforting, inspiring feeling.

I don't work anymore. I see the moon at night once
in awhile. The moon says it misses me. I miss it, too.
The moon. Magical. Mankind has been there. Mysterious.
I would love to see a unicorn by the moon or a wolf.

I never saw a man in the moon. The moon watches over us
and the wild life. A beautiful moon. I used to wave to it.
The moon is with me and maybe it inspires me to write.
Sprinkle some moon dust on me. I wink. Good night, moon!
