Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: What is your favorite summer time refreshment? Can you share the recipe?"

I don't have the recipe for my favorite summertime refreshment and even if I did I could not share it because it is both patented and copyrighted. However my favorite summertime refreshment is Mountain Dew. I have grown particularly fond of Mountain Dew Code Red, which is Mountain Dew with a hint of cherry flavor. However it is getting to be too hard on my kidneys so I have opted for Wyler's Sugar Free drink mixes, which you simply add to bottled water. I also enjoy Crystal Light drink mixes and Hawaiian Punch drink mixes, all of which come in 6 single serving packages in boxes. Usually I add two of them to a 24 ounce bottle. I mix different flavors together and come up with my own unique blend. I find that Kool-Aid also makes such drink mixes and I often buy them as well. I am diabetic, which means I am constantly thirsty so I buy about ten dollars worth of these mixes each week and drink them around the clock.

Blog City image small Prompt: "Use these words to create something on this lovely last day of June. affair, flowers, parsnips, stationary, building, second and reconcile."

My life is one big love affair with Jesus. I would not have it any other way. He came to earth to reconcile me to a right relationship with Himself. He knew it meant He would have to die and be glorified by rising from the dead. He did not regret one second of His sacrifice. He was building a kingdom for Himself and for me. I'm sure he had parsnip sometime in His life. He had more glory than all the flowers in a field. He remains a stationary constant in my life. I wish the whole world would simply surrender their selves to Him. Like Him I am not willing that any should perish.
