The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's ParadiseOpen in new Window. prompt for DAY 1595
Do you believe hate, fear, and bad behavior can be contagious, not only among kids but adults as well?

Hate, Fear, and Bad Behavior

Is hate, fear, and bad behavior contagious? Sometimes it is contagious, especially when there is a crowd, and sometimes it is taught or learned. It is learned from watching and emulating those in our lives who have power. The basic problem (I think) concerns the individual human beings ability to accept responsibility, ask questions, and discover their motives for taking an action or believing what they believe.

As individuals we need to know our motives, and the thoughts those motives are based on. Do we follow what we are taught without question? Do we think for ourselves, and ask ourselves the hard questions concerning our behavior? As adult human beings we are responsible for our own thoughts and actions; therefore, as individuals, we have to look at our motives for taking a specific action or responding--either in word or deed--to someone else's actions.

Peace Rose. Write whatever you want about this beautiful rose.

Peace Rose

Spiritual symbol
Represents tranquility
Divine beauty peace

Roses, of any type, always remind me of the Festival of Ridvan. When Baha'u'llah declared his mission in 1863, He did so in a garden on an island of the Tigris river. The island was near Baghdad, where the Persian government sent Him into exile. The garden was filled with roses and the singing of nightingales. The garden was called Ridvan or Paradise by those who witnessed Baha'u'llah declaration. While the peace rose was not developed until the Twentieth Century, it still reminds me of Baha'u'llah and Ridvan.
