Sad Song
"Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. Day 21: Write about a song that makes you feel sad.

Sad songs don't always make me cry,
Sometime the make me ask why,
I feel like the tears are welling up,
Like an overfilled coffee cup.

It's been a while since I, intentionally, listened to a song that makes me sad. Normally, I find country songs work best when it come to raising the dragon of depression. One of the songs that makes me feel sad, which isn't a country song, is Abraham, Martin, and John. There are other songs that make me sad, and cause me to want to cry.

Some songs make me feel nostalgic, but not always for the past. Those songs make me wish for a better world, a world in which every human on Earth is considered part of the human race, as a friend, instead of an enemy. Those songs encourage me to find ways to work for unity.
