What is one of your biggest fears, and how have you conquered it (or plan on conquering it, should you be faced with it later on)? This week it"s hemming a prom gown for my Granddaughter. I've been working on it since yesterday. Hope to finish today. The measuring and cutting is finished.  I was afraid to cut off the unnecessary fabric. After marking the dress, I took a deep breathe, applied scissors. Yep! It's shorter now.  Today, I am hem stitching on a machine. Taking a dress off the rack and putting in a hem is a tricky job. I prefer building the dresses from the ground up. Hemming is easier because you measure for length at the beginning of the project. Much earlier in life I was afraid to jump horses over six feet. How did I conquer the fear? I jumped horses over six feet a couple times. Nope  I wouldn't ever do it again in my life. I'd rather put hems in prom dresses.  WRITE ON  |
