Just what it says
The Blog City Prompt Forum prompt for February 27, 2017 is "Our minds are big enough to contemplate the cosmos but small enough to care about who wins an Oscar,” said Dean Cavanagh.
What do you think about the Oscars and what role has the Academy Awards played in your life this year or at any other time? "

I personally could not care less about the Academy Awards. In my opinion they are usually awarded to actors and actresses who played a dumb role in a stupid and senseless movie anyway. I mean let's be honest and serious here. How many action movies do you see even being nominated for an Oscar. Absolutely none! Instead they'll elect some movie that will either lull you to sleep within the first fifteen minutes or make you want to pluck out your eyeballs and jam pencils into your ears! Every movie I have ever known to be nominated for multiple Oscars usually qualifies as such. Grease for example won multiple Oscars and I cannot stand that movie.Yes Olivia Newton John has an amazing voice but the songs were stupid! If I couldn't write better than that I'd quit. It made me want to shoot their parents!

The Academy Award mean nothing to me. Now if you say the words Pulitzer Prize you have my full attention. The country doesn't watch a "Pulitzer Awards" though.
