Homework?
"Homework?Open in new Window.

The prompt asked if students have too much homework? When I was young I seldom ever did homework. My dad had his own idea of homework and it had absolutely nothing to do with the books we used in school! When we got home a list of chores always awaited us, held to the refrigerator door by magnet. Each of us would be given enough chores to keep us working until bedtime. Then we would get up the following day at the crack of dawn and trudge the mile we had to walk too the bus stop. Many joke about doing that but for us it was a reality. The bus couldn't come to us as the road was impassable by bus. So we walked. By the time our day was finished we had no time for homework.
