You can start all over again with Dana Glover and Dave Koz

Song: "Start All Over Again"
Artist: Dana Glover & Dave Koz
Album: Hello Tomorrow (Dave Koz)

It really irks me that this song is on Dave Koz's album and the artist listing is most often as "Dave Koz featuring Dana Glover," when Dana is the one that wrote the song and sings it. Sure, Koz added some great sax playing to the composition but it still feels like he kind of co-opted her song and called it his. *Rolleyes*

Dana Glover is best known for her work on film soundtracks, and a brief appearance as a neighbor on Desperate Housewives. That episode of the hit show actually introduced this song, and Glover and Koz both featured in the episode playing it in a nightclub scene (Glover played a housewife with aspirations of becoming a singer/songwriter).

This is one of my favorite sad songs of the moment. I think it's beautifully tragic and inspiring at the same time; the perfect song to listen to as you're driving home in the rain after a bad day, or talking a walk to sort out all the stresses and thoughts careening through your mind. And I chose to include this particular video because I love the fact that whoever put this lyric composition together described Koz's saxophone solo "epic saxiness." *Laugh*
