20: Generation Z Haiku
What's going on in my world you ask? Well Monkey, my cat, is nearly a year and just started her first heat cycle....yay. Looks like now I gotta stop putting off that vet visit *le sigh* Just hope it isn't too costly or difficult to get a resonable price.

2nd, I finished reading Diana Rowlands Even White Trash Zombies Get the Blues  Open in new Window.
Long review short, I liked it! And started the 3rd book White Trash Zombie Apocalypse  Open in new Window..

------------------
How do you predict people of the future will remember the reputation of the generation of teens living today? Pay attention to pop culture like music, movies, TV shows, and literature

Good question....I'm not sure, because to my knowledge the only generation that gets remembered often seems to be the 50s teens. Sure we joke about the 70s till now but it's more about the time and cultures in general, not the teens. Even 50s teens are only a small/tiny part of the topic.

So frankly I don't foresee the teens of today being remembered too vividly UNLESS this current influx of helicopter parents/wussification/politically correct/'everyone's a winner' crap storm of a mess young kids are into today drastically effects our economy in say 20/30 years. They'll be talked about just as much as my 90s generation is/was.

Update: This little boy  Open in new Window. has the right idea. Give us about 50,000 more of him and Gen. X just might make it after all. *Pthb*

It's time for a little creative writing! In honor of such a great NFC Championship game between the Seahawks and 49ers earlier, write a poem or a flash fiction story (500 words max) about football... or another sport of your choosing.

2014 Championship Haiku
