67 Years and Counting

Today I am 67 years old young! I'm not sure whether I feel that old or not. Sometimes I feel older and sometimes I feel younger. Each morning, for the last several years, I've set the alarm at 4:00 am so that I could take the one pill I have to take on a empty stomach. This morning, I took the pill (I keep water by my bed with a pill box containing my daily medication), I got up and turned off the alarm. I turned on one computer and started the virus check. I put clothes in the washer and turned it on. I put water and coffee in the coffee maker and turned it on. After all this, I sit down to pray and meditate; I got one of my prayers said before my mind started fantasizing.

After I heard the coffee maker announcing my coffee was done, I made sure that at least an hour had passed since I took the medication. I got up, poured myself a cup of coffee, folded the clothes in the dryer, then put the wet clothes in and turned the dryer on. Turned on the second computer, logged into writing.com, checked Facebook, and then returned to writing.com. I still have to post to one or both of my offsite blogs. I'll probably only post to one because, at this point, I can only think of one subject.

I have decided to post to My Birthday Gratitude List to http://poet999.blogspot.com/. Normally, I post my gratitude list on Thursday, but since today is my birthday I decided I should list the stuff I'm grateful for today. My sister is supposed to be in Las Vegas today, so I'm looking forward to see her. I don't know what she has planned, but I hope she takes me out to eat. However, just seeing Faye is enough of a birthday present.
