Mandatory Work sounds good
March 25, 2012, Sunday, Day 25 ~ 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is DISCUSS SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOG ENTRY

This week entry "3-24-2012Open in new Window. by BIG BAD WOLF is Howling Author Icon got my attention. Right now, Mandatory Work outside the house sounds inviting and fun. Any type of work outside the house is inviting. I have not been in the regular work force since 2007 or 2008, I can’t remember which year. I do a little work online, but that isn’t the same as working outside the house or being in the general workforce.

I miss getting up every morning and getting ready to go to work. All right, I have to admit that isn’t the way I felt when I was going to work everyday. Now, however, I would like to go to work at a job where I get into my car and drive or even take the bus.

It’s amazing how my attitude changed when I became my mother’s caregiver and could no long go to work. Perhaps I need to get back into a routine as if I have to work outside the house. Maybe that would change my approach to housework and other in house chores. Don’t get me wrong, I like caring for Mom; it’s rewarding, educational, and sometimes amusing, still I think I would like to work outside the house (not in my yard) for a couple of days a week. Going to the grocery store and bank just isn’t the same as working at a paying job.
