Day 26

Prompt:
Describe your favourite fairytale, myth or legend from your childhood.
Discuss why it’s your favourite and how it has influenced your beliefs and morals throughout your life so far.

I remember being read to from a very ancient edition of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Which was full of macabre images.

Rumpelstilskin I remember made a big impression on me. I deeply visualised the sly, little wizened old man.
I remember making a mental note to watch out for anyone who looked like this!

It had layer upon layer of events and was fascinating to listen to. I don't think it effected me throughout my life, as I still will talk to small men with beards.
