| i guess the spell is broken! this darling bout with influenza seems to have dissolved whatever was damming up the flow of creativity, and there are a couple new things in my portfolio, more to come soon. i am many things, the very least of which is a poet. i try, though, because my favorite person in the world is into poetry, and he is supportive, even though my successes are few and far between. "Invalid Item"  (posted twenty minutes ago or so), while not necessarily a success, combines two of my favorite things--marcus and precious stones--so, yeah. things you should know for maximum effect (i hope this isn't dumbing it down too much, but a few of these things aren't intuitive): 1. peachtree street runs all the way through metropolitan atlanta. 2. "naima" is my favorite john coltrane song; "central park west," one of many others i especially like. if i had a mansion i'd probably name it after the latter. 3. "dancing nancies" is my favorite dave matthews song, and marcus's least favorite. 4. diamanti is, of course, italian for diamonds. |
