Are you familiar with the poem The Night Before Christmas? Do you like it? If not, why? Did someone read the poem to you as a child? Did you carry on the tradition with your loved ones?

Congratulations on your virtual blogging adventure! Good Morning.

Yes. There was a book in my childhood that had the poem in it. I'm not sure if it was my book or my brother's book. I remember the picture of the man with the cap and nightwear. I do remember the first part of the poem. It's an OK poem.
{When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter.}

I read the poem to myself, apparently more than once; since sentences are presenting to my mind as I write this.

No. My children were not given as much attention to reading as I should have been able to give. I was 19 when my first child was born. The two oldest boys had a mother that was still in her own childhood. Plus, I was never around people raising their own children. I did not have a very in-depth high school education. Really I was not smart enough to be raising children at that time.

I still believe you have to have an in-depth, well rounded education to make good choices. Or people around you who are devoted to helping you grow up with enough information to avoid life's pitfalls.
