| Prompt: October. Halloween. Autumn. Has anything strange happen to you this month? I went to Lake Michigan. The lake was pretty blue but the waves came in roughly and looked scary. The tips of the waves had white foam on them. The back of the lake looked high like a tidal wave. It looked like Lake Michigan was having it's own hurricane but there were no dark clouds or rain. Lake Michigan doesn't have hurricanes. It was windy. The lake was loud on top of that. I saw two crows in the yard. Ravens. I called them Edgar and Poe. Last night, I fell asleep in the recliner and woke up at 1:00 AM. I looked out the window. There was flashing orange lights in the corn field. They kept blinking and left. There was an orange glowing light that stayed. I have been watching Halloween movies so maybe it was spooks or aliens. I just went to bed. Two hurricanes in a row in Florida in less then a week. That is scary. I pray for everyone. I got out my Halloween Decorations. My dancing black witch cat and Dancing Frankenstein and an artificial white pumpkin. I was glad I could find them. Hopefully, October will be quiet.  |
