Prompt 6 Thank You Rain
Carly looked m.at the day dreary
Of Rain now sleet she is weary,
Another day to spend inside
The weather person did not lie.

She settled in her reading nook
Resigned to read another book,
She loved to read at times she chose
Not when moisture directed prose.

Once she read ‘bout fifty pages
Super plot that she engages,
Thank you rain, then sleet, now snowing
Many places I’ll be going.

If she was smart she’d brave the rain
Until she was soaked once again,
Return indoors to read away
Retreat to read this rainy day.
