Pumpkin pie is in the oven
It's frozen, but it smells just as good
Decor in shades of warmth and cheer
Fill the corners of my solitary home.
I sit down and read a book with a cup of tea
A cat and a dog at my feet
The fireplace is electric without any heat
But the hygge is real and comforting
