Working My Way Around W.C
It's been a few years since I was actively involved in this site, and it shows. I've been trying to read and ask for help and with both I was successful in moving a story from my blog to a folder. I decided I didn't want to use it in my blog, though it may be the correct place.

I feel like a person who is challenged in several different area's. Age plays apart but there are other issues involved. Having to re-read instructions and trying to figure out exactly what I'm being told. I'm slow but determined and I will get better.

Trying to separate my thoughts and put them down on paper is something I've been doing for a long time; I journal and until recently my journaling hasn't been consistent. I have stories all over the place of things I did with my wife and kids. Vacations we've been on, but I start writing and within a couple of days I'd quit. That has been my story till recently. I started this journal in June and I've been good about inputting information on a regular basis, the only thing that I haven't written about is politics, and I don't intend to start now. I figure what happens happens, and there's not much any of us can do but vote. We'll see who wins the race Republican or Democrat. I do care but I don't intend to share my views on this forum.

The View From My Back Porch has changed since I started this blog. I one time we lived in the foothills and had unobstructed view of the Lucern Valley. It was nice and peaceful and we didn't hear the sounds of the city. We were 5 miles away from HWY 18 and we couldn't hear any sirens or noise from traffic. Peaceful it was but the time came that we needed to move down the hill and come back into the city. We lived in a double wide trailer which was new when we moved in, and now we live in brick and mortar home and the Fire Dept is about 3 blocks away. We live near a busy street and during the week you can hear the sounds of the cars going by. It's 2 blocks away but you hear the noise. The weekends are much quieter, and more enjoyable. I'm glad we moved because with the medical issues I've had being close to the hospital and doctors was a blessing. Our daughter was very glad when we moved. Our old home was 5 miles of dirt road and in the winter it wasn't fun.

So much for now, but I'm going to keep contributing and starting to read other blogs and giving my response to those I read. I'm looking forward to getting back involved and meeting new people.

Life is Good and God is Great!
