| Prompt: Joy says Photography used to be an art. People take selfies and do their own pictures and Joy asked if pictures are a thing of the past. I am giving my views. Photography. At the 4H Fair, you still see beautiful photographs taken by members. Now days, people take selfies and all kind of pictures. I used to take pictures and scrapbook them. Now, I will take them on my phone and get pictures sent to me and I store them in my photgallery. When my son was little, I took him to Olan Mills and got pictures taken of him every 6 months for 3 or 4 years. I would take pictures of him all the time. Going on vacation and to the zoo, my husband and I were always taking pictures. I imagine the photo industry is down with people taking their own pictures. I have scrapbooks of pictures I did for 15 years at least. Now, I don't scrapbook. Weddings. Professional wedding pictures can't be replaced . Friends can take pictures but I still like professional wedding pictures best. Photography. I guess we can do it ourself and enjoy them. Getting professional pictures taken is probably expensive so everyone tries to cut corners. I use my cell phone for pictures . It is an art in itself. It is like anyone can be a photographer.  |
