A1. "Reflections"
I stared through the livingroom mirror at the calendar in reflection. I still hadn't changed it over from December 2023. I am still waiting for Christmas to arrive. Without grandma or my mother there the celebration fell flat. Grandma was the excited voice that cheered at every present everyone got especially her own even the awkward handmade gift my now 8 year old autistic nephew made. He made a picture frame in 2022. We lost her in May last year it was hard to explain she didn't need a present this year. I don't know about having learned a lesson last year. But I forsee lessons to be learned this year. Namely how to go on without grandma around.
