blog of a person who seems to be invisible...
ok.. so I'm taking a next step in my life. I'm improving on myself. I'm going down this path i am on, thanks to God. I now attend a church regularly, and I like its small confines in a church building i attended nearly 40 years ago. To me it is surreal.

Do i know whats ahead, or even where I am going? no, not at all. to be honest it scares me, but I need to step out of my fear and take charge of my life, and live it the way I and God want me to be. where ever this path goes, I'm sticking it out to the end. I feel it is a testament to who I am.
I am learning more and more everyday about myself. and improving, also trying to make amends for past mistakes.
But one can only make amends for mistakes where there was mistakes to begin with, if people don't want to listen then that is their fault, and their loss. I wont go where im not wanted and I know I am a good man, if you don't.. well that's too bad so sad for you...

DAY 1070: October 21, 2015
Prompt:. This is your chance to babble about anything you want either in prose or poetry. Be creative and have fun.

I wish I had something to babble about,
something to say, with certainty,
there should be no doubt.

Words that will ring true in the hearts of people,
could be spoken quite frequently
but if heard naught means nothing.

I wish I had words to babble about,
the sound that tickles my ears could nothing but words.
because the remainder of sounds matters naught to me.

Words can say so much to you,
if you choose to listen.

words can be so loud to you,
even if you don't listen.

But no matter what you will do,
they will be nothing but something to babble about.

HAPPY BACK TO THE FUTURE DAY TODAY!

DAY 1064: October 15, 2015

Prompt: Who are your three favorite book characters? What makes them so great?

I'm sorry I've been absent a bit lately companions, but between real life, NaNoWriMo, an online English class and my masonic duties, I have been a bit off in my promises here. I apologize, I wish I could say it will get better but, as fate would have it, in my life, when one thing drops off another springs up to take its place. It had been this way for more years than I would like to count, I don't expect change.
but anyway... to the prompt at hand:

That is a hard prompt to answer the way the author wants it answered, you see, I was a geek growing up, so I was heavily into comic books, dc mainly... but I will admit Marvel has a certain draw to it( well it did till Disney got ahold of it, anyway). So I will answer it this way, I don't really have just three favorite book characters. I literally have three thousand, and of every various kind and type you can imagine. And to be honest, each one is a favorite for differentreasons. for example: Superman, he's literaly an alien and has no real natural born home for him, so he's alone.. yet he still acts with honor and respect for us as a whole. Batman? well he should have ptsd, and he just might, he just works it through it all. wonderwoman? has issues with society for being a woman. wolverine, is former military, and a war hero with great strength... dr x? hes paralysed... need I really go on? you get the idea. unfortunately in this questions case... there is no singular answer for it... not in my case anyway.... but then again..... I am different.

with the close of another very busy week for me, drawing closer, I feel the need to take it easy. Nanowrimo is taking its toll on me. But it is something that I want very dearly, so I will keep going at it.

Personal stresses keep building. The schedule doesn't get any easier. one day ill either be too old for putting myself through this stuff, or it will put me on the disabled list. I'm kind of hoping for the first one.

DAY 1024: October 5, 2015

October 5 is Do Something Nice Day and World Teachers Day. Do you or did you have a favorite teacher you would like to do something nice for? If you did then write a tribute to the teacher telling us why you want to do something nice for that person.

I did have a favorite teacher when I was in school. Unfortunately I am not able to do anything nice for her, because she is no longer with us... Her name was Marilyn Hiestan and she was the best teacher of science I ever had. I was not an easy student, nor did I allow myself to be a good student, but she took the time to work with me to graduate.

She really was an angel to me, when no body else cared... she did. And she helped people right up until the time she passed on... she was just incredible. she is always on my mind!

I came across a river,
It blocked my way.
I knew it was a life giver,
Of those who lived near.
It was a beautiful sight,
But crossing it did give us a fight.
We crossed with such care.
We moved with oh so much care
Not to fall off was our dare.
Once we were across,
We were free.
Free to be who we were to be.
We continued onto where we were sent
So others behind us could be free.

Were you able to see the eclipse of the super moon? If so then write a story or poem about it. If you weren't able to see it due to circumstances beyond your control. Write a rant about it.

I didn't see the eclipse of the super moon, hey I live in florida it was raining and over cast all day and most of the night. Its ok, its not like I haven't seen a lunar eclipse before, or like I wont see one again.

I have enough on my mind to worry about right now... much less other things.

DAY 1040 September 22, 2015

not really feeling the given prompt for today.... so I think Im not going to write about that one today. But I have started on the Nanowrimo stuff... I cant say as I don't have some reservations about it, after 50000 is a lot of words to write, especially for me, in a month. not only that but the prep is a bit challenging as well. I hope I , and there fore my novel, is up to the task of it.

Over all I am excited about this... It will be my first, hopefully not my last... I will get back to it now.

"Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not; a sense of humor to console him for what he is." - Francis Bacon
I you had to choose between having an imagination or a sense of humor which would you choose? Which is more important an imagination or a sense of humor?

Actually, would you really fault me for saying both are equally important. Imagination without a sense of humor is a geek, and seems really cold and calloused, to me. While a sense of humor without imagination seems a bit airheaded or someone with a lack of personality. I think a good balance of each is necessary for the person to be well balanced and pleasant to be around.

Its not worth much, its just my two cents.

now I'm off to try and continue working on my NaNo WriMo stuff. ( oh god I'm in trouble)

The fighters charged at each other, their swords clashed with a loud bang. They grunted as they threw everything they had into the thrust, only to repeat it again and again and receive the same result each time.
They paused a moment, sizing up the other for another thrust. George, the one that instigated this fight, tried a faking maneuver, which resulted in the sword clashing with Edmunds shield, which he retaliated with a spin around and a thrust to the back of the leading leg of George. George screamed in pain as the sharp sword cut into the back of his leg causing him to fall to his knees in an unstable position and drop his sword. Edmund took advantage of this by moving around behind him and hitting George on the back of the head with the handle of the sword.
George being stunned by this move, fell forward, face down on the bloody ground. Edmund was quick to move to his side and place his foot on his back immobilizing him on the ground. The sharp point of the sword pressed on the base of the skull in a kill position.
“Hold,” a Voice rang out.
The crowd watching was cheering the whole fight suddenly became silent. Edmund removed the sword and placed it on the ground while facing the man who spoke.
George struggled to get to his feet, pain ripping through every inch of his body from the cut on the back of his leg, which is pouring hot blood down to the ground.
“Edmund,” The voice said,” I declare you the victor. Your cause has been awarded.”
Edmund dutifully nodded to the judge, looked at George with a hateful look, then without saying, a word turned and walked away. As he was walking away George’s personality got the better of him, he picked up his sword and charged at Edmund while his back was turned. The crowd began to yell to get Edmund’s attention.
Edmund thought they were cheering for the judge, when Edmund’s battle senses kicked in. he raised his sword while turning at the same moment impaling George onto it. The momentum he had built up carried him onto the sword as it passed through his body and out the backside.
George made a few gurgling noises before his body went lifeless and fell to the ground. The crowd cheered him even louder now, as he had defended his honor one
