| This morning st work I started singing something, as I often do, this time these word came to me. All I want today is that which is sufficient. Just what will meet the need today. Went I got home by 8 am Rhonda had lost her voice; sinus drainage; and she took some meds then went back to bed. Less than an hour later she had a seizure and I was requesting prayer on Facebook. I posted a comment after she had her seizure and the gist of it was that I just wanted to scream but knew it would do month good. So I just asked the Lord for thst which was sufficient for today. The Lord was preparing me at work for what was to home st home. That is what I call a road sign of His activity in our lives. | Over the course of your life, what has been the strangest/oddest experience you've ever had? I was a young whipper snapper. Fresh off a separation from my former fiance who was not as in love with me as much as my money towards the end of our relationship. The attempt to create a degree of separation from her resulted in living in an upstairs apartment above a garage. I felt that I needed to go to church on a regular basis even then, although I was in no way a saved individual. Well the church I ended up at was Kessler Park Baptist Church in Oak Cliff. If anyone is familiar with Dallas, Texas, they will recognize the name Oak Cliff. It was at one time a separate entity from Dallas. Now it still has it's own distinct identity but is a part of Dallas proper. I was being introduced around the church by the pastor and when I was introduced to one particular lady; a voice came into my head; just as audible to me as any spoken voice. The Voice said: "this is your wife." I still gt goose bumps thinking about this. Rhonda was chosen by the Lord and that's one reason we are still together after so many years. I believed that voice and yet for 6 months I was not even able to ask her out. I was still shy and recovering from the separation of my former fiance. The Voice has spoken to me on many other occasions over the years and so I have learned to pay attention to what He is saying and act accordingly. I have even been led through the streets of Oak Cliff from time to time at His leading to arrive at a destination that I had no ideal I was going to be until I arrived. You are beloved! | Were you miraculously granted complete power to change for the better one aspect of any person or thing in the world, what would you change and why? The change would be in myself. Here and now the turn around should commence. Every day shall be spent seeking to serve Him as He enables. Calling people to the Lord's side through preaching. Hearing the cry of a desperate heart and responding willingly. Acknowledging Him when compliments or praise is received. Nearing the throne of God each and every day in intercession for the people. Gearing up for the return of the Lord, by sharing the Good News through writing. Evil that runs rampant can but disperse when one-by-one others take up The Change to further serve the Lord in the ways He enables. Change has to begin with oneself and from there the ripple effect should well kick in. Help Me Maintain My Premium Upgrade

| What are your thoughts/ beliefs about U.F.O.'s and whether or not intelligent life exists on other planets? Aliens? Who knows. The Lord is the creator. It is possible He has formed other species and they are advanced enough to achieve space travel. The stereotypical spherical shape is is probably just that. The lights in the sky, the beams and the abductions as well may or may not be valid. Who knows? Only the Lord and the folks at Area 51, if you would believe the reports. The real aliens are the believers in the Lord Jesus. We are not of this world but are here for a time and then we will be taken up into our heavenly home. We are interacting with the world but our focus must; and shall be; the future we have when we pass from this world. Help Me Maintain My Premium Upgrade

| "What is the worst event in history to ever have taken place, in your opinion? Could something like this possibly happen again? 9-11-2001. The new day that will live in infamy. Yes it can happen again but only if we get bogged down in the how tos and lose sight of doing that which needs to be done to defend our borders. We need a force stationed at home to do just that. Our military is scattered hither and yon, for the cause of good, and in the meantime we are vulnerable. A redistribution of the troops should include creating a parameter around our national economic and political infrastructure. There are enough troops and haste be the day when this occurs. | What does Christmas mean to you? Christmas is a celebration of the Christ child. How this event is celebrated in our house is kind of like this. Reading the Christmas story out of the Bible. In the morning prior to Christmas we go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Still do that after 24 years of marriage and it never gets old. Taking the communion later that day at our church is another tradition of celebration. Making preparations for our friends since 1987, visiting for Christmas dessert. At least one present given to each other Christmas eve night. this year too! Serving the needs of others as we are able in some small way. Christmas is a celebration of the Christ child. What does it mean to me? It means that family is in our hearts even though we are scattered throughout the face of the map. It means that for the 25th year on Christmas day; Rhonda is still with me to make the day worth the living just because He lives. When we are financially able we also try to take in a movie at the theater. Alas this year we are not able to continue that tradition. Haven't been able to go to the movies since May in fact, but that's another story, another blog, another day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year beloved. p.s.: i still have not finished the memorial acrostics for the 26 remembrances, but I will continue until they are all done. Meanwhile I will resume blogging for the world does continue on and more activities are in store for the blogging circle of friends. Copenator out! | Write about a holiday in which things just did not go as planned. Violence often marred many of our holidays at home. The desire to be normal in the midst of that only led to personal confusion and anger. In fact most of our holidays were blueprints in Disaster 101. The one good thing about them though is that there was always good food and some card playing to make up for the mess that is made in a dysfunctional environment. Gosh it's kind of a downer but that's about the size of life in the past that still supplies some of the emotional fodder which makes for a good story to write. Experience dictated to me that I needed to turn that around when I got out from under that influence. Not sure if I've completely succeeded but still I try to make the most out of the limited funds we have now and the long list of wanted presents from the misses. You are beloved and that's the truth!
