Born in New Zealand, my family moved to Australia for a short time before settling in North Wales, while I was still very young. I never really understood school until I grew into it, at which point everything seemed to become clear. All of the previously unfathomable language and concepts began to make sense. I have always written in one form or another, often finding it a much better way of communicating than speaking, I guess like my boys perhaps I have some issues.
