I am a retired Registered Nurse who has recently discovered the joy of creative writing. I enjoy writing rhyming poems and short stories. Writing has become a keen interest of mine even though I still have heaps to learn. I am looking forward to meeting other members on the site. I have some characters buzzing around in my head waiting to be written. I am keen to keep writing on this site and have begun with a Prologue to a story. I've written a letter to myself in the "Dear Me" contest and entered a poem in a contest. I am still learning to review in a meaningful manner and have been lucky enough to have read some good stories and poems.
