Hi everyone. I have not long retired from 22 years in the British army. I had an idea for a story many years ago, so I decided to put pen to paper so to speak. I soon discovered that writing is not as easy as I thought. I had no idea there was a format to writing. I also found my grasp of English literature wasn't what it once was. So I decided to join a writers group, and improve myself. So here I am. I'm looking forward to making new friends and learning the ways of a good writer. Mick.
