Desert Crypt

The seas of sand have scorched my hands
And burn my eyes to crisps,
But in my soul I see them now,
The beasts responsible for this.

Like Death itself they creep around
And whisper of lies and cheats,
And slowly but surely,
At their Master's will,
They bring you to your knees.

And here I am,
Alone and gone,
My wasting form as proof.
So Beware, Beware! all unaware,
Beware of the coming Doom!
