CHAPTER 3: They meet Amyra loads Krystal's car seat in the back of the Lexus Roman bought for her 25th birthday. Amyra: We're goin shoppin today, baby! Krystal: Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Amyra laughs and puts Krystal in the car seat. Soon after they drive off. Soon after THAT, they arrive at the mall ___________________________ Amyra and Krystal are in the food court. Amyra is waiting for Roman.Some lady comes by and stops in front of them. Cameron: She is so cute! She yours? Amyra: Yeah. Krystal, what do you say? Krystal: Tank you Cameron: So cute! Wish I could have one. Amyra: You can't have children? Cameron: Nope. Amyra gives her a sympathetic look. Her cell phone goes off and she sees Roman's name on the LCD screen. Amyra: Hey baby Roman: Hey. I'm outside. I called Paco and got your car sent home. Amyra:Ok. We'll be out in a second. Love you! Roman: Love you too They hang up. Amyra throws all the food and stuff away. Amyra:(extends her hand) It was nice meeting you...um... Cameron: (laughs)Cameron. Cameron Pierce. Amyra: Amyra Pierce. Cameron frowns, then quickly hides her expression. Cameron:(fake laugh) Small world. Cameron looks at Krystal and notices how much she looks like Roman as Amyra walks away. Cameron shakes her head and walks in the opposite direction. Cameron: No. No, no, no, HELL no! ____________________________ Amyra greets Roman with a kiss. She puts Krystal in the car seat and gets in the car. Roman drives off. Amyra: Some lady complimented Krystal today. Roman: Really? Amyra:Yes. Tell him what she said Krys. Krystal:(swinging her legs) She said. I'm pretty. Roman: You're not pretty. Amyra glares at him. Roman: You're beautiful. Amyra smiles and looks away as Roman gives her a sideways glance. Amyra: OH! And funny thing. Her name was Pierce. Cameron Pierce. Roman's foot presses harder on the gas from nervousness. Amyra:BABY! Roman:(slowing down) Sorry! Krystal laughs. Amyra turns around as much as she can with the seat belt on and plays with Krystal. Roman sighs, grateful for the distraction. |
