To be honest, this form of poem has never really been my style. That being said, I found it very interesting- the fact that this isn't something I'm normally into is a testament to it's quality. It's hard to really see what you are getting at in the poem to some extent- but that lends to the title in a way, making it (as the title suggests), ethereal. The last line, "Live this day, and die this night" really lends to the final understanding, though. It's eerie and left me feeling unbalanced to some extent, which seems to be the point of the poem in the first place.
I'd certainly say this was a good piece.
A well-thought out poem with it's own beat and rhythm that truly makes it come to life. I found myself tapping out a beat to the rhythm of this poem, almost finding myself speaking it out loud. It rolls well, and could very easily be made into a song. The words themselves, when broken down, make absolute sense. It speaks of the puzzle of life, and how life never truly ends. Things keep going, and you can just keep living on with your life and continue solving the puzzle. Overall, an amazing piece with very few minute changes that could be made to improve it... and those would simply be nit-picking.
You definitely have a way of leading someone on to a funny reaction. For a while, at first, I thought this was Ash, or Satoshi, speaking to you (the author). Then you find that it's to You, as May, or Haruka. So now you are thinking that Satoshi's poem is to Haruka... then, at the very end of the poem, you find that it was really to Misty, or Kasumi. It was a clever writing that found a way to wrap itself around your mind a little, and play tricks with common expectations. I applaud you.
