Speed Reading/reviewing- 1000 word story won't even take me five minutes to read, and you'll get a review within 10 minutes of me reading it. As it is, my reviews are usually around 300 Characters- minus my Review Sig. However, sometimes they'll reach the 1,000 Character mark. Depends on the Story/item. *Bigsmile*

Interactives that don't have an actual story started - Give me some meat to eat there before you ask me to look at it, with at least one thread being at least 10 chapters long, and not just choices that aren't even developed, preferably written by your own hand. Books - well, not through a Review Request page anyways, as I'd would have to review the book itself and not the Chapter, in order to get paid, but I will review them if you ask me in an email. Anything that doesn't allow reviews. *Bigsmile*

An interesting Poll asking what point of view they like to use when it comes to writing. In my opinion, that all depends on what kind of story one is writing. Is the story something along the lines of one telling about their day "I did..."? Is is about what "You" are doing? Or is this about what "Bob" is doing? In any case, all can be fun.

Well, this is an interesting story. You've got a couple of siblings trying to figure out a way to make money so that their home doesn't get foreclosed on. When they respond to a strange newspaper add, things get strange when they get sucked into some sort of game, and have to compete against other teams of siblings.

I stumbled across this under the Online Authors, although what really caught my attention was the name in the title - especially since my own username ought to give most a very good clue as to why it drew my eye...

What you have is a short story about a paranormal investigator, who has been hired to check out a collage. While there, he comes across a powerful entity that is causing some serious troubles.

This is an interesting poll about a person's favorite type of writing. Personally, I like all types, but my favorite is the Interactive, as you can get so many stories, all from a common origin. After all, start the Main Character off at a crossroads, and here's a few possibilities:

Heads to the North: The MC become the King of a great and powerful nation, with plenty of queens to enjoy the company of.

Heads to the South: The MC becomes a vicious and brutal Bandit Warlord with a huge price on his head, among other things.

Heads to the East: The MC gets captured by a dragon, and is forced to be its slave, or else they become lunch.

Heads to the West: They become a farmer, taxed by the King, robbed by the Bandit Warlord, and terrorized by the dragon.

Undecided: Has an encounter with a guy that has a crossbow - The End.

Plenty of fun.

Well, this is an interesting In & Out, especially if one likes to add to Interactives. Here is a place where one can learn and share tips for writing additions to those stories that take so many twists and turns, and always create a new story, despite sharing the same originating point as another. Worth looking at.

This is an interesting take on the whole "Jack and the Beanstalk" - type story. You have a young woman who climbed a large beanstalk, only to encounter a friendly giant. However, things aren't so easy, especially after she encounters another giant, who isn't so friendly.

The characters are interesting, but to be honest, the giants could use names, at the very least.

Spelling and Grammar
I don't see any issues with spelling or grammar, but, instead of saying "(expletive deleted)", you could settle for a mild swear word, or perhaps bump it up to 18+ for somewhat stronger swear words.

Well, this is a cute story. You have the three typical Fantasy/Adventure classes, the Warrior, the Wizard, and the Archer, all involved in a real wreck of a story, as it turns out that some peoples' plans for the weekend get ruined, for one reason or another. More than a few good laughs here.

What a coincidence - I happen to have this same image in my portfolio - different text, but still - nice to have a chance to look at the other one after soo many years. *Laugh*

(In fact, for those of you reading this review out there, me and Megan both placed bids on this image during an auction in October 2012 (if my date's correct), and I think we tried to outbid the other, until she bought it outright. Still, she was nice enough to buy a copy for me.)

Well, this is an interesting item. You have a young man who wore a kilt as part of his National Heritage, but gets in trouble at school as a result. Parents show the school the rule that allows him to wear the outfit. School changes the rule. Boys protest, and start wearing dresses - I wonder how the rest is going to end.
