The hassles of teenager love. [First Fic]

First Impressions

A/N: First time writing and publishing online, don't KILL me.

I watched her as I walked into the dreadful cramped classroom (honestly, one of the shittiest classrooms, I’ve seen in my life) and my palms began to sweat – really sweat, though luckily I’ve managed to keep my face from going bright red.

Her hair seemed a lot different from other girls our age – long dark brown hair that was dead straight yet here’s the catch; It flicked yes flicked in the end (I’ll never understand how the hell girls can make their hair just ‘flick’ without using gel).

Her emerald eyes seemed empty and not entirely amused by the ‘popular’ girls sitting at the back and seemingly calling her ‘names’ or even the good looking blonde, trying to catch her eye (funny that I would call person of the same sex, ‘good looking’),

Giving her my full attention again, I noticed that her right hand was curled tightly in a fist, holding up her head with her elbow resting on the glass table and the other was holding a small ‘2B’ pencil, my observant glance noticed something that I managed to miss the last time I saw her in class – she’s a leftie).

As I realized I have been standing way too long and didn’t want her first impression of me as some, ‘stalker’.

I quickly released my observing stare on her and continued walking down the aisle, ignoring constant shouts of, “Who’s the new kid?” or “Nice ass, ass!”

Strange how she didn’t seem to care or even affected by the sudden loud screams and yells from her classmates.

My heart picked up its pace as a horrible theory flashed through my mind.

‘Oh god, please don’t…’

It raced even faster when I took the seat next to her.

‘…Please don’t…’

She smiled at me as I sat down but I could sense her fear and irritation but the smile…was what hurt me most…

It wasn’t real.

Once again, my heart was shattered as the nagging voice ran through my head –

‘…Please don’t let Jennifer Claire Lennon be deaf.”
